Team Brenda

Paige Diana Schoppmann

Campaign Manager
Paige Diana grew up in Vermont and is now returning home after having spent some time in New Hampshire for college. She started her activism career in college as founder and president of a sexual assault awareness organization on her college campus. She’s since worked on various political campaigns, scattered throughout New Hampshire Democrats, NextGen America, Pete Buttigieg, and most recently Isaac Evans-Frantz. She joins Brenda’s team as campaign manager, and is the one you’ll see behind the scenes, taking photos and fluttering around Brenda. Paige Diana’s favorite part of the campaign trail is the connections being made between team members and other Vermont leaders.

Mirra Macy

Scheduler, Call Time Manager, and Handler
Mirra is recently back from the National Guard. She spent her life as an athlete and a dancer. She got her political start by volunteering for Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign at the age of 14. Mirra was Brenda's student for many years and now is on staff. She started by taking the roll of driving and some finance. She is now our scheduler, still making sure Brenda gets everywhere and has what she needs and incredible both at call time managing and finance herself. She is the one you see most on the campaign trail with Brenda. Mirra says her favorite part of being on the campaign trail is scheduling and mostly traveling to every corner of the state and meeting so many Vermonters.

Sianay Chase Clifford

Policy Advisor
Sianay Chase Clifford is a social worker, policy practitioner, educator & activist born in Burlington and raised in Essex, VT. Brenda understands that we need to shake loose our assumptions about who gets to be a part of the political system. She knows that to actually achieve the change so many of us so desperately need, we cannot rely on the status quo.

Chris Lamm

Finance, Data Collection and Research Development
Chris Lamm is a Junior at the University of Vermont majoring in Natural Resources. He first met Brenda through his housemate Ajna, who happens to be her son. Chris got his start as a volunteer on the campaign by collecting signatures to get on the primary ballot, and he now works as a part time campaign staffer. Chris lives in Vermont but is originally from Austin, Texas, and he knows a thing or two about trying to unseat Republican incumbent governors! His favorite moment of the campaign was taking the Amtrak with Brenda from Burlington to Middlebury when it ran for the first time in July. When he is not on Zoom with Brenda, Chris loves traveling, rock climbing, hiking, and trivia.

Audrey Grant

Graphic Design
Audrey is a 3rd year Senior at Simmons University in the 3+1 Political Science/Masters of Public Policy program. She first met Brenda when she and others were sleeping on the State House steps last November fighting for housing for all. She is incredibly excited to see Brenda’s platform firsthand, one that is people first and a campaign of compassion and empathy. This is Audrey’s first campaign cycle where she’s not just a “super volunteer,” but instead helping #TeamBrenda on social media and graphic design. You don't know it, but sometimes she is who is making sure that social media is running smooth and often. She adores Vermont politics, and has really appreciated her time on the campaign trail meeting constituents and elected officials from across the state. You can always find her sewing, repotting her nearly 30 plants, or talking about the weird facts about the Vermont State House (did you know the House and Senate chambers are the oldest continuously used chambers in the country?)

Bryan Parks

Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
Bryan Parks was born and raised in Addison County.  He is an avid traveler who likes to spend the majority of his time outdoors with his dog Zuri.  During Bryan's travels he's talked with thousands of people from different communities.  It’s been clear to him for some time that not all Vermonters' voices are being heard in the Statehouse and is why he is driven to help Brenda get elected!  Bryan feels with Brenda as Governor all communities will finally have leadership in Vermont that will stand up and fight for all of its citizens!
